Choosing Accessible Resources
What do I need to know about choosing educational technologies for my students to use?
- Faculty & academic support staff should know how to read and understand a VPAT | Example VPAT (VoiceThread)
- Quality Matters requires the inclusion of accessibility statements for 3rd party technologies (statement or VPAT)
- Use the VARC at BuyAccessible.gov as a resource to help you find accessible learning technologies you can use in class (or require students to use for instructional purposes)
- Use WebAIM's WAVE tool to check the accessiblity of your own sites and other websites.
Updated VPAT (VPAT 2.0) Now Available
